Toshiba’s new 37AV500U television has been described in a review as the best system released by the company.
HDTV News’s Franz Bicar has described the LCD set as a "one of a kind", adding that it offers "user-friendly features and advanced functionality" for those who buy it.
The writer went on to described the system’s high definition images as "finely detailed", but add that the audio features are also impressive.
He wrote on the website: "Toshiba’s 37AV500U creates dramatically improved sound delivered through a SoundStrip look speaker system, a new speaker technology using a thin-line speaker design with enhanced dynamic range.
"This eliminates the big round speakers, without losing any of the big home theatre sound."
Praise for Toshiba’s new television has come after PCWorld.com recently described Samsung’s LN46A550 was called a "well-rounded" system.
The website said that the 46-inch LCD TV performed well in an image quality test and also featured easy access to its HDMI, S-Video and USB inputs.
