The new Toshiba Satellite range of laptops "is taking a direct line towards fashion friendly", according to one review.
Writing for Laptoplogic Travis Simon claims the Toshiba Satellite M305 "features the sort of gloss and appeal that makes this laptop seem to fit in a rather more expensive looking crowd."
Although the unit, which has 14.1-inch LCD, seems a "little bulky", it does feel "pretty sturdy" and is not overbearing when transported, he continues.
The laptop is configured with a 2.1 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo T8100, 3GB of RAM and an Intel x3100, however opportunities to upgrade look "slim to none", the reviewer adds.
It also features Toshiba’s new ’sleep and charge’ facility which allows USB devices to be charged whether the laptop is switched on or off or in standby mode.
Earlier this week, Toshiba signed a deal with Ericsson that will see the telecoms supplier provide built-in broadband support for its business laptop range.
