A new darts game which takes advantage of the Nintendo DS’s touch screen is set to be released.
It has been announced by software company Agetec that Touch Darts will be made commercially available for the portable console later this month.
The game features a number of different modes for players, including challenge, quickplay and multiplayer player options.
It also has a full tournament mode in which gamers can adjust the difficulty setting between rookie and expert.
Mark Johnson, producer at Agetec, said: "Touch Darts does a fantastic job of bringing the authentic dart experience to the player.
"With its controls specifically designed for Nintendo DS, the Touch Dart’s gameplay faithfully recreates the feel and challenge that dart fanatics will be looking for."
Activision has also unveiled its new Rapala Fishing Frenzy video game, which it claims recreates the "thrill of battling trophy fish".
The game is set to be released for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii.
