A new extreme sport has been devised which combines BMX biking and skateboarding.
The Freestyle Dirtsurfer is now available for extreme sport enthusiasts, with a price tag of over £225, reports gizmodo.com.
Compromising both bike and skateboard parts, the contraption comes complete with 16-inch wheels and foot-straps, with a lever activated disc brake attached to the rear wheel to control speed.
According to the contraption’s designers, the Freestyle Dirtsurfer is "exceptionally easy to ride" and becomes "more stable" the faster they go.
"Even people without snowboard or surfing experience can quickly learn to ride the Dirtsurfers," they told the site.
"If you start on a grass hill with a gentile slope, you should be riding the board successfully within a few minutes."
Technology firm Qmotions recently unveiled its Big Vert, a full size wireless skateboard deck which is compatible for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 and allows gamers to transmit movements into a snow or skateboarding game, teamxbox.com reported.
