Foothills Shoes is urging people to bring their old Crocs to the shop in the Pioneer Shopping Centre in Yuma County as it is making an effort to encourage recycling of the shoes, it has emerged.
People who have a pair of crocs they no longer use can bring them to the shop located on Fortuna Road from Monday to Saturdays between 9.30 am and 5.30 pm, according to the Yuma Sun.
The store is taking part in a drive to collect old crocs for SolesUnited.org and the company then crushes the shoes and creates new ones which are distributed to people around the world who need shoes, the news provider has reported.
In related news, CrocsRx has launched a new pair of Crocs called the Silver Fox.
The new addition to the company’s collection is part of its therapeutic range and is created specially for women.
Eddie Scott, director of the CrocsRx line, said: "Just as our core collection continues to evolve, we’ve broadened our styles to appeal to a more diverse audience within the medical market."
