‘Numatic Hetty top vacuum cleaner’

The Numatic Hetty has been rated the top vacuum cleaner by shoppers.

According to review site Reevoo, which compiled comments from hundreds of consumers who had bought vacuum cleaning products, 100 per cent of shoppers who had purchased the vacuum would recommend it.

The device was commended for its "ease of use and great performance", while Hetty’s counterpart, the Numatic Henry gained fourth place, the website said.

Bissell’s 3760E ranked in second place followed by the Sebo Automatic X4 Extra.

The Miele S5260 was rated fifth on the list while four other vacuum cleaners from the company made it into the top ten with most reviews for the products mentioning their "superior suction", Reevoo continued.

Dyson did not feature in the top five with reviewers rating vacuum cleaners from the company "highly for performance and design" but marking them down "for ease of use - citing their weight and height as negatives", the website added.

According to the Mirror, the new DC24 Dyson Ball, which was showcased at the Grand Designs Live London event earlier this year, includes a central ball, enabling it to swivel "with the turn of the wrist" to avoid furniture.
