A new game based on an animated TV series is being launched for the Nintendo DS by Activision and Hasbro.
Transformers Animated: The Game sees the franchise’s Autobots battle the Decepticons and work together to locate lost fragments of the race’s life source, the Allspark.
Players need to switch between characters, including Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, to tackle the challenges they face over the course of the title’s 20 levels.
Kim Salzer, vice-president of global brand management for Activision, said the game "adds to the mystique and success" of the animated series.
"We are thrilled to continue our incredible collaboration with Hasbro, and bring yet another innovative, interactive experience to fans of this highly-successful Transformers franchise," he added.
505 Games recently announced it is releasing Gardening Mama for the Nintendo DS next year.
The game, which is an extension of the Cooking Mama franchise, will be launched in Spring.
