A sequel to popular PC game Theatre of War is in development, it has been announced.
Theatre of War II, which is being created by 1C Company and Battlefront.com, is a real-time strategy game based on events that took place in 1943 as Nazi troops fought the Allies in Tunisia.
Around 15 missions are expected to feature on the title, which will also allow players to control the armies of either sides.
Discussing the game, David Philippov, head of internal game development at 1C, said: "After the original game was released we spent a lot of time reading comments and gathering opinions.
"I believe that Theatre of War II will become popular not only among old fans, but gain new followers. It is a real step forward for our team."
Earlier this week, it was announced that German metal band Blind Guardian are to feature in a forthcoming PC game.
Sacred 2: Fallen Angel is also expected to be released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in the near future.
