A new role-playing game set in the 16th century is expected to be launched next year for the Xbox 360 and PC.
Venetica has been created by German company Deck 13 and dtp entertainment and allows players to take up the role of Scarlett, who is known as the daughter of death.
In the game, the character has to save her father from an enemy that has transformed itself into a powerful being in order to destroy a shady organisation known as Corpus.
Scarlett is forced to use all of her abilities to battle the evil and stop it harming her loved one.
Information on the new release has come after games publisher Capcom revealed its bestselling games of all time.
Street Fighter II is the company’s top-selling individual release, while the Resident Evil series of games is its biggest franchise.
Other notable inclusions on the sales data included Devil May Cry and Dino Crisis titles, along with Mega Man and Onimusha.
