Polaroid is working on a digital version of its now defunct Land Camera, it has been announced.
Writing for Wired.com, Charlie Sorrel reveals that the firm is looking to combine its portable PoGo Bluetooth USB printer with an actual camera.
"The only confirmed news so far is the size of the prints. At 4×3 inches, they are both bigger than the existing PoGo’s 2×3 inch prints, and also exactly the same size as the old analogue Polaroid pictures."
Mr Sorrel believes that the firm should take notes from the Lomo camera and include "some odd filters and other novelties" into the new Polaroid device.
Those looking for a more advanced camera might be interested in forthcoming Finepix S2000HD D-SLR-style device.
According to the firm the device will offer HD compatibility meaning that the photos can be displayed clearly on an HDTV.
The camera also comes with a 15x optical zoom and ten-megapixel sensor.
