A new compilation of music-related games designed by Tetsuya Mizuguchi is being prepared for launch next year.
Given the working title of Q3, the release features Rez HD, Lumines Live! and E4, which have all been launched on the Xbox 360’s Live Arcade over the last couple of years.
According to Atari and Japan’s Q Entertainment, each title included in the compilation features a music theme.
Phil Harrison, president of Infogrames Entertainment, said that Q3 would be "a must-have in any self-respecting gamers’ collection".
He added: "It’s an exciting opportunity to bring these superb titles to a new audience of gamers with a full retail release."
A range of games featuring 3D technology could also soon be available for consoles, it has been revealed.
Development studio DarkWorks has teamed up with Trioviz to use and license its 3D systems in titles for use on both consoles and PC.
Under the plans, users would be able to enjoy 3D experiences on current TVs by using a pair of special glasses.
