Oxygen Games has announced it is working with one of the best known names in darts on a new title.
The company has revealed that Phil Taylor, who recently won the Ladbrokes.com Darts World Championship, is advising its Rebellion studio on its work to create PDC World Championship Darts 2009.
It is believed that the game will be available on May 29th for the Nintendo DS and Wii.
Discussing his role, Mr Taylor said he was "very happy" to be helping Oxygen create "the best darts game to date".
He added: "Hopefully they’ll make sure I’m the toughest guy to play against in the game, you know, to ensure it’s as realistic as possible."
Sony Computer Entertainment America recently revealed that Boston Red Sox star Dustin Pedroia has been unveiled as the cover for its forthcoming baseball title MLB 09 The Show.
As well as appearing on packaging, he will help the company in the development of the title.
