A Nintendo Wii version of popular video game Dead Rising is being developed.
Due to be on sale this winter, Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop features journalist Frank West who, in search of a scoop, finds himself in a town called Wilamette overrun by zombies.
After he escapes to a local shopping centre, players must use a selection of real and makeshift weapons to fight off the zombies.
"Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop delivers a more immersive, intuitive and interactive experience as players use the Wii Remote to shoot, slash and bludgeon their way through a zombie infested shopping mall, fighting for survival," a statement from Capcom, the title’s developer said.
Players must decide which Wilamette residents to prioritise for rescue as well as solve a series of individual cases in order to gain information as to how the zombie epidemic started.
