A new third person shooter game for the Nintendo Wii will be released at the end of this month, a software publishing company has claimed.
Reef Entertainment has announced that it hopes to launch Rogue Trooper: Quartz Zone Massacre on February 27th.
The game is based on the adventures of the character featured regularly in renowned comic 2000 AD.
Peter Rezon, managing director of Reef, said the company currently has "high hopes" for the new game.
"The tactical use of stealth as well as the all-out action fit perfectly with the Nintendo Wii interface, providing exciting and immersive gameplay," he explained.
"We believe this will become one of the very best shooter titles ever available on Nintendo Wii."
Electronic Arts recently announced that it is planning to launch a new range of game featuring popular fictional assassin Jason Bourne.
The company has acquired the license to create games based on the books of Robert Ludlum’s character.
