The sequel to popular title Warriors Orochi has been launched for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 2.
Software developer Koei is behind Warriors Orochi 2, which follows the adventures of a group of fighters as they unite to battle against a number of enemies.
The game’s storyline follows on from the original title’s plot, in which mysterious Serpent King Orochi was defeated by a band of warriors.
Characters from both the Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors franchises are included in the game, along with others taken from Asian history.
Several gameplay modes are also featured, meaning players can pit their wits against friends and family.
D3Publisher and Tomy recently announced plans to launch a sequel to Naruto: Path of the Ninja.
The game, which follows the efforts of a group of ninjas to protect a village, is expected to be available for the Nintendo DS from October 14th in the US.
A UK release date is yet to be confirmed.
