Two established video games titles are to be released for the NintendoWii, it has been reported.
According to Nintendic, Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu has revealed that Marvelous’ Rune Factory and From Software’s Tenchu will be out in Japan later in the year.
Previously released for the Nintendo DS console, the Wii version of the Rune Factory RPG series is called Rune Factory Frontier.
Players will control a character known as Laguna, who is starting a new life in a different land.
They will have to build a new village and attract residents to settle in it.
Meanwhile, the From Software’s Technu series is due to be launched in Japan on October 23rd - there has been no mention as to when it will be on sale elsewhere.
In related news, EA has announced its Skate IT video game is to be adapted for the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DSconsoles.
The Wii version of the game will use the console’s Balance Board - currently necessary for Wii Fit - enabling players to act much as if they were on an actual skateboard.
