Terra Furniture launches new umbrella base

A new umbrella base which includes a handle and wheels has been launched by Terra Furniture.

The base features locking casters and a pull-out handle to make it easier to move, casualliving.com reports.

Once the umbrella base has been moved to a new location, the handle can be pushed underneath again.

Available in Terra’s standard finishes, the product also come in 20 other custom designs.

The base "is especially useful when umbrellas are taken in and stored each night," the website said.

In related news, it has been claimed that a bedside table is one of the most vital pieces of furniture in the home.

Writing for the Huddersfield Daily Examiner, Emma Davison explained that despite the importance of the item, many people take it for granted and just dump things on it.

This means that people might not get the most from their bedside table, she warned.

She suggested that consumers take sometime to consider what they want from their bedside table, both in terms of design and function.
