Taxi Man make-up for men hits the streets

Men who take style inspiration from the likes of Russell Brand and Jared Leto may be interested in a new make-up range.

The Taxi Man product line currently includes eyeliner and mascara, which could be followed by lip balm and concealer.

Guyliner is a thicker than usual kohl pencil designed for a man’s grip, while Manscara is a subtle way to add colour to the eyelashes, news:lite reports.

A spokesman for the store told the news provider that the products had been developed because of a trend for men to borrow from their partners.

"It’s about subtle make-up rather than wanting to create the drag queen look," they said.

According to one expert, the trick to men wearing make-up is to enhance features and cover blemishes without making it look like they are wearing any products.

David Graham, who sells men’s Dior products, told the Scotsman that cosmetic products to help men look fresh and professional can benefit their career.
