A new game which allows military enthusiasts to pit a range of tanks against each other is to be launched for the PC this year.
Black Jacket Studios has stated that Metal Drift, which features over 50 tank configurations and weapon upgrades, will be launched in the next six months.
Players are challenged to take on friends in five different arenas, with each of the sites also encouraging users to race their vehicles against rivals.
Brian Ramage, president of Black Jacket Studios, said the title has "the speed of a racing game combined with the first person view of a shooter, and the cockpit of a jet fighter sim".
He added: "I haven’t seen an arena combat game that really brings the player into it, so they feel the excitement of the crowd and the grandeur of a professional sport."
Electronic Arts recently confirmed that it is releasing a special edition version of Burnout Paradise for the PC next month.
