Pentax has unveiled a new low-cost ten megapixel digital camera.
The Pentax Optio E60, which is priced at around $140 (£71), features an optical 3X zoom lens with wide angle of view and an image recovery function so accidentally deleted photos can be retrieved.
Also featured on the device is an auto picture mode, which recognises surrounding conditions, saving time for the user as it eliminates the need for them to manually select a mode.
Landscape, portrait, night scene, portrait, flower and sports modes are included.
Available in black, the camera, which will go on sale in October, also comes with digital shake reduction, image stabilisation, face recognition and a world clock.
Pentax has recently launched the latest addition to its Optio M series of lightweight digital cameras.
The ten megapixel Optio M60 has a metal exterior, 5X optical zoon and a 2.5-inch LCD monitor while its auto picture function can detect the optimal mode for eight scenes.
