Penelope Cruz launches L’Oreal Mineral-Enriched Mascara

L’Oreal has launched its Bare Naturale Mineral-Enriched Mascara with an advertising campaign featuring actress Penelope Cruz.

The mascara may be of interest to women who try to avoid chemicals in their make-up, as it contains 86 per cent natural-origin ingredients, including aloe, jojoba oil and Vitamin E as well as minerals.

L’Oreal says: "The hypoallergenic formula creates beautiful, weightless lashes enhanced with volume, length and definition.

"The super soft, naturally-based, bristle brush provides flawless lashes with absolutely no clumps."

Other products in the Bare Naturale mineral make-up line include Bare Naturale Gentle Mineral Powder, Gentle Lip Conditioner and Gentle Mineral Eyeliner.

Those worried about the warm weather ruining their make-up should avoid using heavy foundations and instead opt for Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser, the Halesowen News stated this week.

As well as giving UV protection, it can help avoid blocked pores and blackheads and ensure wearers stay "fresh and fabulous", Lisa Haynes states.
