Playstation3 uses will soon have access to a service which combines aspects of Google Maps and the Wii’s news and weather channels, it has been announced.
The Life With PlayStation service will begin with real-time, location-relevant news and offer more features in future, reports Next Gen.

He is quoted by the website as saying: "Life with PlayStation proposes a new lifestyle for PS3.
"As many people turn on their TVs in the morning when they wake up, users can use their PS3 to download worldwide news in real-time or check weather and temperature of travel destinations."
Yesterday, the Guardian described PS3 game Metal Gear Solid 4 as "a modern epic with looks to die for".
According to the newspaper, the latest instalment in the series ties up many of the lose ends of previous games.
