Harmonix and MTV Games have announced the launch of several new tracks for their Rock Band game.
New songs by Rush and Red Hot Chili Peppers have been made available via the Xbox Live Marketplace, while they are to be released on the PlayStation store later this year.
The former’s tunes Closer to the Heat and Working Man have been launched, with latter featuring an alternative guitar solo not previously featured on other released version of the song.
In addition, Snow (Hey Oh) and Tell Me Baby, which are taken from the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Stadium Arcadium album, have also been made available.
Gamers have the chance to download and play along with the songs for $1.99 (£1) each.
It was recently announced that a collection of classic tunes by The Who are also set to be launched for Rock Band.
My Generation, Baba O’Reilly and Who Are You are among the songs featured in a 12-track pack that is being released for download on July 15th.
