A monster-hunting game is to be launched for the Nintendo DS console.
Set in the fictional town of South Arc, Master of the Monster Lair, will see players construct a dudgeon to capture a series of beasts that have invaded the area.
With the help of a talking shovel, the player will dig a labyrinth of tunnels and rooms through which to "master" the monsters, games developer Atlus said in a statement.
Rooms including chapels, cellars and stables can be constructed to attract the array of beast plaguing South Arc.
Meanwhile, Games developer Empire Interactive has revealed that a sequel to pet simulating game Animal Paradise is being developed for the Nintendo DS.
Animal Paradise 2, which will include more animals and interactivity that its predecessor, is to be launched in the second quarter of next year, the company said.
Nintendo Europe released the DS in three new colours - red, turquoise and green - on June 13th.
A touch-screen, 3D graphics, voice recognition and a library of more than 560 games, feature on the games console which is also available in crystal white, smart black and platinum.
