Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has revealed that one of the year’s big PlayStation 3 (PS3) releases is set to be delayed.
The computing giant has announced that the release of LittleBigPlanet will be delayed by around three weeks due to issues discovered during the review process of the game.
Patrick Seybold, director of corporate communications and social media for SCEE, wrote on the official company blog: "During the review process prior to the release of LittleBigPlanet, it has been brought to our attention that one of the background music tracks licensed from a record label for use in the game contains two expressions that can be found in the Qur’an.
"We have taken immediate action to rectify this and we sincerely apologize for any offense that this may have caused."
SCEE has also said it hopes the game will appear in the UK no later than Monday 3rd November.
BioShock, the smash hit Xbox 360 video game, has been released for the PS3 today.
