The third game in the Fallout series of titles is being prepared for its imminent UK launch.
Fallout 3 is set to be released tomorrow (October 31st) for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 after receiving awards and much critical acclaim from reviewers, including Eurogamer.
The title throws players into a world which has spent 200 years recovering from a violent nuclear war.
"You can create any kind of character you want and explore the open wastes of Washington DC however you choose," the game’s publisher Bethesda Softworks explained.
"Every minute is a fight for survival as you encounter super mutants, ghouls, raiders, and other dangers of the wasteland."
A new third-person shooter which parodies a number of games in the genre is being developed by D3Publisher.
Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 is set to feature the voices of Arrested Development’s Will Arnett and How I Met Your Mother’s Neil Patrick Harris.
