Usher releases new women’s scent

Singer Usher has become the latest celebrity to release his own fragrance – UR for Women.

The star, whose hits include Love In This Club and Confessions, has stated that the perfume was designed using the same emotions he uses to court women with his music.

He told the Associated Press: "The power of attraction is where it all starts. It has to be inviting, something that’s lighter in the day and still make him come closer in the evening."

UR for Women joins a scent for men, which Usher claims he wears every day.

The new fragrance contains hints of jasmine, peach nectar and honeysuckle, smells which the musician states represent his southern upbringing.

Last year, Usher launched two scents, Usher HE and Usher SHE, aimed at men and women respectively.

According to MarketWatch they became the number one best-selling scents in Macy’s stores.

Meanwhile, it was recently announced that Usher will perform at the upcoming Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Miami Beach.

He will be the only musical star to perform.
