Sony has released wireless streaming capability, DVD and input models for its Bravia high definition (HD) TVs, according to one technology news website.
ZDNet reports the firm has built into its new Bravia LCD HDTV the ability to accept modules that can bring additional functionality to the devices.
Earlier in the year the firm released the Bravia Internet Video Link and now it has put out three new modules.
The Bravia Wireless Link Module is designed to send video and audio signals to the TV without needing to hook up the devices, the report states.
According to the website, the Bravia DVD Link Module adds a slot-loading upconverting DVD player and the Bravia Input Link Module which provides four additional HDMI inputs for multiple gaming consoles, disc players and so on.
Sony claim its Bravia TVs offer groundbreaking technologies to deliver the ultimate in HD picture quality, while maintaining an elegant design.
