Jessica Simpson launches new perfume

Pop star Jessica Simpsonhas launched her own perfume range, according to reports.

The singer-turned-actress revealed her Fancy Jessica Simpson fragrance in an official unveiling at the weekend.

Along with her dog Daisy, the 28-year-old Dukes of Hazzard star displayed the line at Dillard’s fashion store in Dallas, Texas.

The Dallas Morning News commented the scent’s ingredients resemble a "mouth-watering dessert" and include "pear, apricot nectar, toasted almonds and caramel, plus a flowery dash of gardenia and jasmine", reports Osoblog.tv.

Ms Simpson, who has also appeared in movies such as Employee of the Month and Knocked Up, recently sparked rumours that she is set to marry football playing boyfriend Tony Romo after the pair were seen shopping for diamond rings.

The couple have since denied the reports, with the actress telling ETonline.com they are more likely to be shopping for DVDs than rings, before adding "there hasn’t been any diamonds in this relationship".
