A new perfume by actress Halle Berryhas been approved by her boyfriend.
Berry, who has been trying out a number of scents for two years before launching her perfume, said that she chose it after her model partner Gabriel Aubry gave his praise to it.
She told People.com that she had been combining fig and mimosa scents and had wanted a perfume that was beautiful and "simple enough" for a partner to inhale all day, each day.
"He (Gabriel) said it smells like that - he’d better be right!" she said.
In more celebrity perfume news, singer and actress Jessica Simpson has said Brigitte Bardot inspired the advert for her own new scent.
Simpson told Entertainment Tonight that her perfume, Fancy, had had its marketing drive influenced by the "classic beauty" of Bardot.
But she denied that she would be launching a male and female line of fragrance with her footballer partner Tony Romo.
"That’s so not Tony," she said.
