‘Electrolux are technical innovators’

Vacuum cleaner manufacturers Electrolux are "technical innovators" according to one reviewer.

Writing in the LA Chronicle, Robin O’Brien described the company’s Trilobite cleaner as "the first commercially available vacuum that vacuums your home without the need for you to do anything else but turn it on".

The model includes a computer that memorises the layout of the room and works out the most efficient method of cleaning it.

However, for consumers who cannot afford the Trilobite’s high prices, the upright Electrolux Aptitude EL5010, Electrolux Oxygen 3 EL5035 and Electrolux Intensity EL5020 models may be more suitable.

The Electrolux Aptitude, which "has been built with quietness in mind", allows the user to change the brush roll speed with a sliding switch on the handle and features seven carpet height settings, a 12 amp motor and HEPA filter.

Meanwhile, the Electrolux Oxygen 3 vacuum includes a sealed HEPA filter, an electronic height adjustment enabling users to clean all floor types and a 12 amp motor.

Finally, the Electrolux Intensity vacuum also includes a HEPA filter and a 12 amp motor but Mr O’Brien found its one quart-sized dust bag too small.

Electrolux has also announced recently that its affordable ZSH730, ZSH720 and ZSH710 will soon to be on sale later this month.
