Made by fair trade communities from across the globe, the sandals are available in an array of styles and colours.

Where, whose main supplier is a member of the International Federation of Alternative Trades, aims to use sustainable resources whenever possible for all its products and packaging.

The companies shoe boxes and carrier bags are made from recycled paper and printed by Delhi’s Sahara community.

Meanwhile, Hippyshopper.com reports that the latest range of casual footwear from Tom’s shoes, which is inspired by traditional Argentinean designs, is not only in line with current fashion trends but are also ethically made.

For each pair of shoes sold, a pair is donated to a person in need with more than 10,000 pairs distributed so far to poor people in Argentina, the review site claims.
