A new range of high-heeled sandals from Crocs are a "sassy offering", according to one reviewer.
Writing in the Seattle Times, Debra Braggs claims that the comfort footwear specialist’s heeled shoes "certainly caused me to pause" but now remarks "if only all high heels could feel so good".
The three-inch heel Cyprus shoe features double straps that cross over the top of the foot while a Croslite material footbed creates a custom fit, minimizing the load on feet, legs, and back.
The Cyprus is available in bronze, silver, scarlet and black.
Crocs is also offering a "retro-inspired wedged-heel" sandal in two tones including celery and white, fuchsia and white or mango and canvas, Ms Braggs writes.
Two new styles designed by the company for women working in the hospitality and healthcare industries are currently on display at the National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago.
A two inch heel - designed for stability and comfort - features in the Ginger shoe while the Saffron design includes an adjustable strap for a secure fit and has plenty of toe room.
