‘Christian Louboutin shoes make women feel sexy’

Christian Louboutin shoes are the most likely to make a woman feel sexy, a poll has found.

According to the Telegraph, the Parisian designer’s shoes, which feature scarlet soles and vertiginous heels, were described by 2,500 women as being the most likely to turn them on in the Handbag.com poll.

The shoes have been donned by celebrities including Gwyneth Paltrow, Kirsten Dunst, Nicole Kidman, Victoria Beckham and Angelina Jolie.

Handbag.com fashion editor Belinda White told the newspaper: "The classic black heels by Christian Louboutin are women’s favourite shoes to make them feel sexy.

"Wearing them makes women feel more attractive – and also more likely to catch a man’s eye. So donning these designer heels could lead to better sex and far more of it."

Selfridges recently reported a surge in sales of stilettos after Gwyneth Paltrow was spotted wearing a selection of skyscraper stilettos - some with seven-inch heels - while promoting her new film Iron Man.

Selfridge’s has sold out of Alexander McQueen’s £335 Languid court shoes, worn by the actress to the London premier of the film, which have a six-inch heel.
