The fourth game in the Call of Duty franchise has dominated nominations for the upcoming Bafta Video Games Awards.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has claimed seven nods from the event in categories including action and adventure, best game, use of audio, artistic achievement and multiplayer.
Grand Theft Auto IV has also been nominated in several of those categories, alongside Fable II.
In addition, Boom Blox, the Nintendo Wiititle developed by Electronic Arts in collaboration with director Steven Spielberg, was given a nod in the casual category.
Overall, 39 games have been nominated by the awards, which is set to be hosted by comedian Dara O’Briain at the London Hilton on March 10th.
It was recently announced that a sequel to Boom Blox is currently in development.
Boom Blox Bash Party, which includes double the multiplayer challenges than the original game, is set to be available to buy in spring.
