Sony Ericsson’s new mobile phone has a solid appearance, according to one technology news website.
It was been reported by Lets Go Mobile that the Xperia X1 mobile phone’s full sliding QWERTY keyboard makes text messaging easy and emailing interesting for the user.
The review stated that the device is easy to operate and the monitor automatically lifts.
It is noted that upon opening the keyboard out the mobile still fits comfortably in the user’s hand and stylus pen users can opt to use the touch screen keyboard instead.
"The large monitor combined with Wi-Fi and HSDPA make the Sony Ericsson extremely suitable to use, surf [and] browse the Internet with. Both the Internet Explorer Mobile and Opera 9.5 are preinstalled," reviewer Ilse Jurrien said.
She added that this is good for the user as they can use preferred browsers rather than just Internet Explorer, which is often the case.
Founded in 2001, Sony Ericsson is a joint venture between Sony Corporation and Ericsson.
