Electronics company Sonin has unveiled its new rugged mobile phone- the LM801.
According to Phones Review, the LM801 uses a yellow and black industrial design and is tough enough to withstand "a real good beating".
Features of the phone include an electronic compass, barometer, thermometer, altimeter, FM radio and MP3 player. It is also dust-proof, waterproof and has a built-in torch.
The phone uses dual-band connectivity and although it is currently unavailable in the UK, the company is looking for outlets to sell its product.
Sonin was set up in 1986 and offers a range of electronic distance measuring devices and other tools including electronic water gauges, moisture test meters and laser target range finders.
According to the company website, all of Sonin’s products are hand-made from the mould up to ensure quality is maintained throughout the building process, therefore, all its products come with a full years warranty.
