Electronics firm Samsung has unveiled a brand new version of its Toccomobile phone.
Set to be the company’s flagship device over 2009, the main difference between the Tocco Ultra Edition handset and the original edition is the inclusion of a new sliding keypad designed to improve the ease with which users can enter numbers.
The device also includes a 2.8-inch AMOLED haptic feedback display, an eight-megapixel camera with LED flash and GPS navigation capabilities.
It also boasts HSPDA and video recording facilities, as well as an integrated music player.
Samsung is expected to showcase the device at the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona later this month, with the official release of the handset expected around March.
GPS device manufacturer Garmin recently announced that it is joining forces with Asus to launch a range of mobile phones.
The Garmin-Asus Nuvifone series will be designed, manufactured and distributed by the two companies.
