A leading global electronics manufacturer has unveiled a new concept mobile phone at a major industry event.
Samsung showed off the new handset, which includes organic light-emitting diode (OLED) technology, at the FPD International technology show in Japan.
The device, which features a touchscreen display that can be used to view media, can be folded in half and used as a standard mobile handset.
According to reports, no details have been made available about the specifications of the device or when it will be available for consumers to get their hands on.
However, leading gadget website TechRadar.com has claimed it is "unlikely" that the exact same system will be available in the UK at any point in the near future.
Electronics manufacturer Asus, which is best known for its laptop systems, recently revealed details about its own new mobile phone.
The P565 device has been described by the company as the fastest business PDA phone currently available in the world.
