A leading mobile phone manufacturer has unveiled a new handset designed for those who regularly use the internet when on the move.
Nokia’s new N97 handset includes a full Qwerty keyboard and a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, which gives users an "always open window" to quickly access social networking sites and other internet platforms.
It can also support up to 48GB of storage, while it boasts 32GB of on-board memory, a five-megapixel camera and DVD quality video capture.
Jonas Geust, vice-president and head of the company’s N-series, described the handset as "the most powerful, multi-sensory mobile computer in existence".
He added: "The Nokia N97 mobile computer adjusts to the world around us, helping stay connected to the people and things that matter most."
At the end of last week, Nokia announced it is now shipping its 5800 XpressMusic device to select markets across the world.
The device includes 8GB of memory, a 3.2-inch widescreen display and a 3.2-megapixel camera.
