The Nokia E71 has topped a list of the best mobile phones of 2008, it has emerged.
3G.co.uk placed the device at the top of its 3G mobiles ahead of the Nokia E71 which it described as the best touch-screen smartphone.
According to the website, the E71 is "the ultimate smartphone, for either business users or consumers" and such is the reason it pipped the iPhone to the title as phone of the year.
Summing the market up for 2008, the reviews site said a number of devices were launched this year focusing on target market areas - such as the Facebook phone or Google phone - and it forecasts this to be a reoccurring theme for 2009.
Third in the list was the Samsung Pixon which is described as a device that promises and delivers loads while the Nokia N85 came in at fourth as an "excellent all-rounder".
