The new Storm handset from BlackBerry is set to be popular in the upcoming festive period, according to leading technology website.
According to TechRadar.com, the device is one of the five mobile devices most likely to be on many people’s Christmas list this month, along with the likes of the iPhone 3G and the G1.
The website claimed that the Storm supports most email clients, while its applications setting also allow people to view and edit Office documents.
Other handsets highlighted in the article include Nokia’s new 5800 XpressMusic Tube device, which comes bundled with an 8GB microSD card.
"According to Nokia, the stereo sound speakers are the loudest in the business," the site stated.
"Carl Zeiss lends his support to the 3.2-megapixel camera, so it should put in a decent showing."
Praise for handsets including the Storm has come after Stuff.tv claimed the touchscreen display on the BlackBerry device is one of its strongest points.
