A mobile phone created by Asus in collaboration with Lamborghini has won a major award.
The Asus-Lamborghini ZX1 PDA handset has been given the iF Communication Design Award for its look and feel, which has been described by the manufacturers as "innovative and stylish".
As well as featuring the car brand’s famous logo, the device includes a 2.8-inch touch screen and a "racing user interface", as well as Bluetooth and wireless internet connectivity.
Discussing the handset at its launch earlier this year, the business head of mobile communications of Asus, Edward Wang, explained what people could expect from it.
He said: "We wanted the end user to feel as engaging an experience as driving a Lamborghini car and you’ll find elements of style and design of the Lamborghini car seamlessly incorporated in the ZX1 at every level."
News of the mobile phone’s award win has come after it was revealed that Samsung has teamed up with Armani to design a new television.
The model was unveiled at the Milan International Furniture Fair in April.
