Eye jewellery ‘a must have’

Eye jewellery is the latest hot accessory, according to one consumer website.

Shiny Shiny reveals that the body decorations are attached in a rather unusual manner.

"Created by artist Eric Lauren Beck, these odd adornments are actually hanging from contact lenses - yes, suspended from contact lenses," the website states.

However, it points out that there does not seem to be any room for error when inserting the eyewear, warning that there could be "horrible consequences" if they are put in the wrong way around.

Despite the fact that some might find it slightly gruesome, the accessories actually look "rather pretty", the news provider adds.

Earlier this week, Theage.com had advice for men planning an altogether more serious jewellery purchase.

The news provider quoted comments from jeweller Peter Michaelson who suggested those looking for an engagement ring should ask their partner their opinion on others’ rings.
