Sony’s S series walkman is an elegant device, according to one technology news website.
Audio News reports the music player offers wide multimedia support and is a complete set in itself.
It comes with 8GB of flash memory and supports WAV, WMA, mp3, ACC, JPEG photos, MPEG 4 and M4V video and the site notes it is a "pleasure" to use as all controls have their own distinct identity.
"Sony has given extra attention to the quality of sound with the Sony NWZ-S738F. They have designed a special circuit which has been integrated into the system for noise cancelling," the review notes.
It adds that this increases the clarity of the stereo and is complimented by a bass setting which adds further depth to the sound system.
The mp3 player has a battery life of 40 hours for audio playback and ten hours for video viewing and is dubbed a "great buy" by the website.
Sony was founded in 1946.
