Sony has launched seven new high-definition LCD TVs in its Bravia XBR range.
The electronics giant has stated that the addition of the new models now takes its number of Bravia models to 30, with screen sizes ranging from 19 to 70 inches.
Several of the new systems, including the KDL-55XBR8, feature the company’s Triluminos LED backlight technology and are designed to offer users "exceptionally deep" black levels.
The televisions also include Advanced Contrast Enchancer Pro and the Bravia Engine 2 Pro.
Jeff Goldstein, vice-president of marketing for Sony Electronics’ television marketing group, said: "Critics consistently praise Bravia as the best HDTVs on the market, and the XBR badge indicates the best of the best.
"Consumers can now experience the quality of Bravia from small-sized models all the way up through our premium big screen XBR series."
Sony recently also launched its V4000 range of Bravia LCD TVs.
The product line initially includes three systems with screen sizes ranging from 40 to 52 inches.
