The Shiro SQ-S mp3 player comes with a built-in solar cell, according to one technology news website.
Ubergizmo.com reports the self powered device keeps itself juiced no matter where the consumer is as long as there is some sunlight.
The website notes the mp3 player takes four hours for a full charge, "which should be more than enough time especially when you sit right beside a window at the office".
It lists the Shiro SQ-S’s features as a 1.8-inch 65k colour LCD display, a built-in FM tuner and voice recorder, as well as 16GB of internal memory.
The review also claims the device, which supports the mp3, WMA, WAV, FLAC, APE and OGG formats, offers 35 hours audio playback and seven hours of video capabilities.
Shiro is a subsidiary of Aztech Sytems and claims to offer products that are high in performance, quality, and style at a competitive price.
It intends to extend the level of technology and innovation established by its own products.
