A leading electronics manufacturer has launched three new LCD TVs in the UK.
Sharp’s new Aquos models include the 19-inch LC-19D1E system, as well as 32 and 37-inch XL8E systems.
The latter models are HD ready and include contrast ratios of 10,000:1, while they also feature in-built digital tuners and SRS TruSound technology.
In addition, the LC-19D1E has a resolution of 1,366 x 768 and includes HDMI and PC connectivity.
Tommaso Monetto, LCD product manager of Sharp UK, said the 19-inch model was "the ultimate multi-use, compact LCD".
He added: "It really will fit into the smallest of spaces, making it the perfect addition to a home or business requiring a second TV or monitor."
Sharp recently unveiled the world’s largest LCD TV.
The company’s 108-inch system, which features HDMI and DVI-I connectivity, has been put on display at the Shinjuku Piccadilly cinema complex in Tokyo and is expected to be put on sale in the future for around 11 billion yen (£52,000).
