Samsung's LE32A656 features 'mesmerising design'The LE32A656LCD TV from Samsung features a "mesmerising design", according to a reviewer.

John Archer of AVReview.co.uk made the comment after the system beat a number of its rivals to come out top in a group test of 32-inch systems.

According to the writer, people who buy the TV need to use a separate sound system to get the best audio out of it, but he added that it created pictures of "sensational quality".

Philips‘ 32PFL7762D came second in the test and was praised for its handling of both standard and high definition images.

In addition, Panasonic’s 32XLD85 was also described as a "sweet all-rounder" with an "excellent" picture quality.

The results of the group test have come after electronics manufacturer LG revealed that one of its TVs has been found to be greener than its rivals.

According to inspection body TUV SUD, the sensor technology included on the LG60 Scarlet uses 69.5 per cent less power than other sets.
