The Samsung F400 music phone has been praised in a review for its "pretty good" speaker system.
Leading technology website techradar.com said the screen on the device "looks lovely" and the slider-opening mechanism is a "smooth one".
The unique selling point of the Samsung F400 is its loudspeaker developed by hi-fi specialists Bang & Olufsen, which it claims delivers sound in a "clear and unfuzzy fashion, even when turned up loud".
Speaking about other aspects of the device, the site added: "The headphones are better than most.
"They come with a set of three rubberised gromits to ensure a snug fit, whatever size your ears are, and they offer a broad dynamic range and a beefy low end."
The site also praised other aspects of the phone, including its three megapixel camera, microSD card expansion slot and fast 3G internet connection.
In a recent review on the site, the HTC Touch Pro smartphone was described as being "slim, powerful and packed full of features".
